Alina Kolesnyk is a Ukrainian picture author, dreamer, overthinker, and illustrator. She creates imaginative worlds, places, and stories for books, travel, and editorial projects.

Alina thrives on weaving visual stories, drawn to the magic of creation and the endless potential of a blank page, waiting to be filled with anything between reality and the impossible.

She’ll take any excuse to draw a map or a samurai (preferably one sporting a charmingly eccentric kabuto helmet, but she’s not picky).
Lately, she’s been trying to befriend vivid colors - with mixed success and the occasional betrayal.
More than anything, she hopes to create books that children of any age will cherish, lose themselves in, and, ideally, doodle all over.​​
